Position: Accounts Receivable/Project Administrator
SUMMARY:

Perform accounting duties related to accounts receivables, project costing, and customer orders.

EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE:
  • Two (2) years of college required in accounting, business administration, or related field.
  • Four (4) year degree preferred.
  • Equivalent experience acceptable.

 

WORK EXPERIENCE:

Preference will be given to those individuals possessing a minimum of two (2) years experience in a finance/accounting department.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Accounts Receivable functions for manufacturing and services
  • Set up new customer accounts
  • Compile time sheet and expense reports for monthly billing; maintain burn down charts for projects
  • Compile information to communicate status of multiple projects on a weekly basis
  • Enter customer orders for scheduling and billing purposes; follow up to provide accurate delivery and pricing information; update orders, and provide tracking information as necessary
  • Provide administrative support as required.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS AND/OR KNOWLEDGE UPON QUALIFICATION IN POSITION:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Position:  Engineering Department Clerk (Part Time)
SUMMARY:

Scan paper drawings, using scanner & PC. Create electronic file and place file in proper directory, using established procedures. Follow general instructions pertaining to scanner & PC software. Routing maintenance in IFS.

EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE:

High School degree or equivalent preferred, but not required.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

No previous work experience is necessary, but must show willingness to learn.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Scan drawings into electronic files
  • Be able to perform other duties as assigned

REQUIRED SKILLS AND/OR KNOWLEDGE:

Position: Manufacturing Engineer
Summary:

Coordinate design, development, quoting, specifications, drawings, vendor activity, installation, and support of equipment and processes for manufacture of Orscheln products. Autonomy of activity is a function of experience, demonstrated ability and grade level.

Preferred Educational Experience:

BSME, BSIE or two (2) year technical degree.

Preferred Work Experience:

Minimum three (3) years work experience in engineering support field.

Essential Functions:
  • Develop tooling, capital equipment, gauge and fixturing requirements for new products.
  • Develop manufacturing routings.
  • Execute typical administrative procedures (i.e.: stock requisitions, RFQ’s, ECR’s, ECN’s).
  • Review production capacity.
  • Define process capability through measurement, verification, process studies, documentation and statistical methods.
  • Support continuous improvement team activities.
  • Manage the areas of Orscheln business as assigned.
  • Troubleshoot tool, equipment and process issues.
  • Develop and implement error proofing.
  • Assist with operator training as required.
  • Develop job instruction sheets.

Position: Environmental, Health & Safety (Intern-Temporary)

This is an hourly position and will report to the EHS Manager.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Work with the EHS Manager to research and complete assigned projects
  • Assist in safety compliance audits and report findings and assist in development of corrective action plans
  • Prepare draft hazardous waste quarterly report packets
  • Research and update templates for safety training
  • Audit Chemical Hazard Communication HazCom labeling
  • Recommend improvements to basic EHS forms, work instructions, and SDS database the HazCom Program
  • Participate in EHS inspections
  • Other duties as assigned by the EHS Manager

 

Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Must be enrolled in a four-year Occupational Health and Safety program, in Junior or Senior standing
  • Must have had prior education in OSHA and EPA regulations
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work with little direction
  • Must possess solid analytical and technical skills
