Position: Production Scheduler
Summary:

Coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within department and plant processes to insure timely shipment of product per customer requirements. Compile and distribute required information both verbally and written, as necessary, to affected departments.

Educational Experience:

High School degree or equivalent preferred but not required.

Work Experience:

One year work experience in Material Requirements Planning.

Essential Functions:
  • Prepare and distribute daily schedules by maintaining and prioritizing work in process.
  • Research requisitions and create shop orders to fulfill requirements.
  • Assemble pertinent information into packets for specific departmental use.
  • Communicate with Purchasing on expedited material (MP's).
  • Communicate concerns of late shipments and capacity with appropriate departments.
  • Answer Customer Service "Change Notice" sheets in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate material flow through all departments to assure on-time delivery.
  • Review past due, current and next weeks requirements for missing parts and capacity.
  • Review of JSR weekly.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Position: Product Engineer
Summary:

Perform a variety of engineering work in design, development, product/program launches, and troubleshooting of all Orscheln products to meet customer and company expectations which include both external and internal customers.

Educational Experience:

BSME, BSIT or closely related field.

Work Experience:

Applicable work experience will also be considered. Preference would be given to individuals possessing a minimum of three (3) years experience. Especially in the areas of labor routings, MRP system, blue print reading, customer correspondence and bill of materials.

Essential Functions:
  • Evaluate compliance of Orscheln's manufacturing standards, drawings, specifications and products with customer specifications, drawings and other expectations.
  • Develop and define Design Verification Testing Plan requirements to support the release of proven and reliable products.
  • Manage all aspects of Product/Program Launches from Prototype to Production.
  • Coordinate Team meetings (CFT's) and manage Open Issues associated with the project meetings.
  • Define product compliance and acceptable limits through dimensional and tolerance requirements, performance requirements, testing verification, process studies, documentation and statistical methods.
  • Exercise communication skills daily with various personnel internally and externally.
  • Recommend and coordinate product improvement opportunities.
  • Coordinate prototype and production quotes for all tooling, equipment, and materials.
  • Work with production with concerns/issues that may surface.
  • Complete all types of Customer requests as assigned.
  • Coordinate the release of prototype and production tools, fixtures, gauges, and equipment.
  • Utilize Project Management tools on projects to serve as a planning and progress monitor.
  • Coordinate all aspects related to APQP steps of production sample submission.
  • Work with customers as required including traveling.
  • Execute typical administrative procedures (stock requisitions, tool sheets, expense reports).
  • Perform all other tasks and "special assignments" as assigned.

Summary:

Coordinate design, development, quoting, specifications, drawings, vendor activity, installation, and support of equipment and processes for manufacture of Orscheln products. Autonomy of activity is a function of experience, demonstrated ability and grade level.

Educational Experience:

BSME, BSIE or two (2) year technical degree.

Work Experience:

Minimum three (3) years work experience in engineering support field.

Essential Functions:
  • Develop tooling, capital equipment, gauge and fixturing requirements for new products.
  • Develop manufacturing routings.
  • Execute typical administrative procedures (i.e.: stock requisitions, RFQ's, ECR's, ECN's).
  • Review production capacity
  • Define process capability through measurement, verification, process studies, documentation and statistical methods.
  • Support continuous improvement team activities.
  • Manage the areas of Orscheln business as assigned.
  • Troubleshoot tool, equipment and process issues
  • Develop and implement error proofing
  • Assist with operator training as required
  • Develop job instruction sheets

Position: Director of Logistics
Summary:

Responsible for overall operational management of the supply chain from the time the product is ordered by the Inventory Department until it arrives at the Orscheln Retail Store. This involves management of the Retail Support Center, Transportation and Pallet Repair functions.

Experience:

Experience with Computerized Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), RF scanning & Voice equipment, Retail Distribution System, General Warehousing, Transportation Infrastructure, Small Package, LTL, Contract Carriers, Owner Operator and Company Fleet Operations, Transportation Managements Systems (TMS), Microsoft Office Products, Retail store experience helpful.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Provides leadership and supervision for 260+ associates (Direct Salary, Indirect Salary, hourly, part time, Company Drivers & owner operators).
  • Ensure timely & efficient replenishment, picking & loading of all store orders.
  • Works closely with Product Managers and Inventory Departments to insure consistent flow of merchandise from Manufacturer to company stores.
  • Develop and manage the Retail Support Center (warehouse) Operating Budget which includes the main facility on Omar Bradley Drive and additional storage on Robinson road - both in Moberly, MO.
  • Develop and manage the Transportation fleet budget.
  • Develop and manage the Freight budget for deliveries to stores and the RSC.
  • Operational responsibility for Pallet Repair department.
  • Operational responsibility for picking and shipping all E-Commerce shipments annually from the RSC.
  • Operational responsibility for the processing of all recalls, outdated, and defective merchandise returned from company stores to the RSC for processing.

Position: Staff Accountant
Summary:

Prepares income statement, balance sheet, and various other accounting statements and reports.  Prepares general ledger journal entries.  Reconciles balance sheet accounts.  Compiles information for auditors.  Responsible for adding, deleting, and transferring assets on the fixed asset ledger.  Assists the clerks in the department as needed.

Educational Experience:

Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting or equivalent.

Work Experience:

One (1) to two (2) years general accounting experience.

Essential Functions:
  • Performs analysis of financial results.
  • Prepares general ledger journal entries in order to prepare the monthly financial statements.
  • Maintains project log and sets up new projects in all necessary systems.  Responsible for accounting for projects including capital, expense, and cost of sales projects.
  • Responsible for maintaining fixed asset ledger which includes adding, removing, and transferring assets, as well as preparing depreciation entry and audit schedules.
  • Responsible for balancing checking accounts at month end.
  • Invoices miscellaneous charges to affiliate companies.
  • Prepares audit schedules on a monthly basis for audit purposes.
  • Prepares invoices and supporting documentation for plating operation.
  • Assists the clerks in the department as needed.
  • Completes sales tax returns and informational reports for governmental agencies.
  • Distributes financial statements and other reports or communications.
  • Assists the cost accountant in maintaining cost files.
  • Responsible for maintaining sales commission program, which includes analysis, data entry, and reporting.
  • Other projects as assigned.
