Position: Associate ReBuyer
Summary:

This position works with the Buyer and Inventory Planning Manager to effectively flow product to Orscheln Farm and Home stores, either direct ship or through the Distribution Center. Responsible for setup and maintenance of replenishment ordering, seasonal and promotional ordering and allocating, analysis, auditing and follow through. 

Once training is complete, the intent would be for this position to progress from Associate ReBuyer to a ReBuyer (salary position), with the responsibilities as noted below.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Work with Buyer to obtain target GMROI for specified product lines.
  • Maintain replenishment in RMS for designated product to include settings of any minimums and ordering.
  • Review and maintain RO settings by alert process.
  • Order and allocate for seasonal, promotion, planner and power panel product as determined by the buyer.
  • Monitor seasonal product during and at end of season.
  • Monitor discontinued items replenishment and pushes from the Distribution Center.
  • Monitor special orders for designated product.
  • Prioritize flow of top 100 items and maintain adequate weeks of supply.
  • Review and act on reports received from the Manager concerning suppliers, inventory flow through the stores and Distribution Center, system settings, etc.
  • Analyze store replenishment concerns for stocking levels as they arise.
  • Review store requests for additional product sending in accordance with sales and based on the circumstances for the request.
  • Monitor and continually improve the in stock level at the stores and Distribution Center by supplier and keep the Buyer informed of any supplier issues.

Position: Department Coordinator
Summary:

This position is a regular, full-time position which provides support for both Training and Customer Service operations.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Assist in entering training program documentation, including follow-up with Operations for missing or late training.
  • Proactively notify certified training program participants of upcoming due dates to ensure timely completion.
  • Assist in development of product knowledge video training.

Position: District Manager - Kansas

Due to continued growth at OF&H, we are adding a district in the Western Region. The geographic area of District 14 is east/central Kansas. Individual will report to the Regional Director of Operations - Western Region.

Summary:

Manages the Operational function from facilities to financials for the Orscheln Farm & Home stores in assigned area. Responsible for hiring, training and development of all levels of store employment. Responsible for achieving budgeted KPI's with in all stores in district. Position: Construction Project Manager
Summary:

Orscheln Property Management LLC is looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager for new projects throughout the central United States. The ideal candidate will harbor a passion for design and construction and devote his or her creativity and experience to our projects. The Project Manager’s job is to oversee each assigned project from conception to finished structure, interfacing with other Orscheln personnel and construction contractors. You must be willing to travel to these various project locations and oversee the management of these construction projects, including both new construction and renovations of existing facilities, to achieve successful completion of quality, on time and on budget projects. Position reports to the Director of Design and Construction.

Preferred Work Experience:
  • Minimum five (5) years experience in on-site project management of both large and small construction projects.
  • Able to read and interpret blueprints and structural drawings.
  • Proven experience in people management.
  • Proven experience in project oversight and track record of successful project completions.
  • Experience with various Pre-Engineered Metal Building Systems and products.

Position: Merchandising and E-Commerce Coordinator
Summary:

Work with the Merchandising and Store Operations teams to process all special orders throughout the company. The Coordinator will be responsible for assisting with the setup of all new drop ship and e-commerce vendors, and will assist with setup of new sku numbers. This position will support all merchant teams and stores within the scope of special orders and e-commerce.

Responsibilities:
  • Works with stores to ensure all costing and suggested retail prices are within our given margin requirements for all special order purchase orders.
  • Responsible for finding the best cost under established guidelines and providers for special order products.
  • Assist stores in obtaining pricing and item information in a timely manner.
  • Works collaboratively with the merchandising team to assist stores with their special order needs and fulfillment.

Summary:

Position: Supply Chain Manager
Summary:

Direct, manage, and coordinate logistics, warehouse, customer service, and purchasing activities.

Position: Technical Sales Engineer (TSE)
Summary:

The TSE shall support the Account Manager in all new and existing key customer projects and initiatives – reduced time to market and profitable sales growth is the key. The TSE identifies new opportunities and applications at existing key accounts through close contact with customer engineering and manufacturing departments. The TSE will be responsible for part number assignment, BOM development, preliminary product design drawings and customer quotations, supported by internal costing process. The TSE coordinates all product launch activities at the customer including supporting customer pilot builds and trials.

The TSE will work with the Product Specialists, on all product lines, to maximize technical solutions for the customer. The TSE will be self-starting, motivated to learn and achieve.

The TSE will work with the Product Development/Marketing team to propose improvements to current products and launch new solutions.

Preferred Educational Experience:

B.S., M.E., E.E., MBA or equivalent business experience preferred.

Preferred Work Experience:

3-5 years experience in a commercial equipment / vehicle environment.

Essential Functions:
  • Manages Part Number Assignment.
  • Responsible for preliminary design prints and models for customer consideration.
  • Performs basic testing and supports customer trials, including on-site prototype and pilot builds.
  • Submits product costing request to Product Cost Analyst.
  • Supports Account Manager with RFQ completion and submission.
  • Lead customer VA/VE activities.
  • Encourages profit consciousness amongst all employees and fosters ideas and suggestions for improvement in Customer Service and Operations.
  • Participates in team meetings and contributes to the operations and improvement of Orscheln Products – One World – One Quality - One Team.
  • Assists with Quality & Environmental Systems management as applicable to Technical Sales Engineering functions
  • Carry out other duties as reasonably required.
  • Attend trade shows and participates in industry events.
